The Power of a Name Tag

Friday afternoon, as I was walking to the Park for our San Diego "Networking in the Park" function, I met a woman. We were walking side by side and I commented to her that I guess I wasn't the only one rolling my stuff. After some light chit chat, she asked me that magic question, What is Leads Club?. I answered that we are Networking groups for small business people. She immediately mentioned that she was a tax preparer and seemed interested. She did not have a business card so I invited her to follow me over to our spot where I would be able to give her a brochure and introduce her to some great business people.

Isn't that fantastic, I hadn't even arrived at our event and already had a new Member for a Chapter. See, Networking, even in social situations is valuable and enjoyable. Y'all missed a great evening.!
