Check back again soon for more details on these seven Focused Networking basics.
Focused Networking is a workshop developed by the founder of Ali Lassen's Leads Club, Ali Lassen. Focused Networking is a custom-designed highly interactive workshop that provides the tools for participants to define goals, identify realistic growth opportunities, and helps them begin to establish their individualized "networking plan".
Seven Basics of Focused Networking:
- Always plan to leave a business or social gathering with a minimum of two (three is better) new "Connections".
- Always have clear and "Do-Able" goals before any networking gathering.
- Be a host, not a guest and use questions to "Host" your conversations.
- Keep your business cards easily accessible.
- Give and you shall receive
- Develop and maintain your "Connections" file and schedule a regular "Re-Connection" time each week to contact those you've been out of touch with. You can also use that time to update and maintain your "Connections" files.
- Schedule at least one weekly networking related breakfast, lunch or evening activity.
